A great collection of political promotional material including 24 pinback buttons or pins and 1 cardboard flier broadside.  This runs the gamut of important politicians in Wisconsin starting with William Froehlich in 1902 and ending with Tommy Thompson in 2001.  Also included are Governors, Senators, Walter Kohler Sr., Joe McCarthy, Orland Loomis, Victor Berger, and Gaylord Nelson as well as other significant names such as LaFollette (La Follette), Renk, Knowles, Hirst, Hughes, and Sewert.  There is even a .00 admission button for the state-wide Democratic Barbeque Picnic held at Muskego Beach on Sunday, July 27, 1941.  The size of the pinback buttons ranges from 7/8 of an inch to more than 2 inches in diameter.
Note:
The back of the Card showing Thomas E. Hughes for District Attorney of Winnebago County features a full schedule for the 1964 Green Bay Packers.  Almost assuredly, this is the rarest schedule for the Vince Lombardi coached Green Bay Packers and may very well be unique.  As such, a singularity of this magnitude which combines both politics and NFL Football, is certainly worth many hundreds of dollars by itself.
