    Description

    This “6 SHOT” cap gun was made in 1895 with a 3 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 128(S2.1.2). This cap gun is 6 3/4 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means the trigger has to be cocked every time to fire it. On one side of the gun the words PAT’D USA JAN 22, 1895 are clearly embossed, and on the other side the words 6 SHOT are clearly embossed around the border of the trigger area. This cap gun is a silver grey color, has beautiful scroll work on the body and grip of the gun.  Please refer to the pictures.
    This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
