Up for sale from "JIM BURKAM" is a  "RARE"----"RUBY SLAG"--(See Pictures)  Bunny, Thumper, rabbit.  #6808 Circ 1978. This Special Pour was for Less than 50 PCS and was made for a private company.-----JIM BURKAM of NEWARK OHIO.
The label Ruby Slag was coined by "Preston Ver Meer" in the article referenced below.
That came about  because the pour & the bunnies turned out too dense---a light does not come through the base like it does with the regular transparent ruby red.
Stands 6-1/4 inches high.(See Picture #8)
This pieces were distinguished from the Original Mold with an incised "ROSETTE" on the bottom of the Rabbit.(See Pictures #7 & #8)  Also a back to back double "B"(See Picture #8).
The Double Back to Back B is in High Relief & very bold.
